The calendar launch party is the culmination of the 2025 Triangle Dog Of The Year Calendar Contest, hosted back in February of this year by Raleigh Pet Photographer, Five Freedoms Photography, that raised over $21K for Charley's K9 Rescue to help them in their mission to pull and rehabilitate often overlooked bully breed dogs from rural shelters across North Carolina.

I attended Joanne’s DIY Dogtography virtual course this week and I’d definitely recommend it. I’m a dog mom and a foster dog mom so I take a ton of pictures for fun but also for marketing the foster dogs to try to find forever families. It isn’t always easy to get great pics so I thought it would be helpful to take the class. Joanne made the content easy to understand and for use with a smartphone camera since most of us don’t have a fancy camera or the skills to use one. Plus, there’s a free guide we can reference!
